I know I am a little bit late in starting this, but I tried to start it on another blogging website and got a bit confused, I've used this site before so I came back to it!
So I am on the Digital Media Design course at London College of Communication!
Im feeling a little bit like a fish out of water at the moment, it's all totally new and Im not sure what my strengths are going to be yet... but we are only 3/4 weeks into the course so who knows!
I had some trouble with my enrollment (UCAS sent me a letter to say I wasnt on the course anymore :( ) but thats all sorted now, I am officially enrolled as a student.
Hopefully my will work get better as at the moment I have limited software, I have tried downloading the trial versions but my laptop hasn't enough space, but I am getting my loan through soon so I'm going to purchase an External Memory drive.
So far I have been enjoying it at the same time as finding it difficult!
I found it particularly challenging when we were asked to go off and draw people in only 2minutes, so I have been making a conscious effort to practice! (however I try not to get caught because I dont think commuters appreciate being drawn on the train!)
I have been enjoying the interactive lessons, although they are challenging, by the end of the lesson I end up wondering why I was so confused at the beginning! And everytime I look at what Ive done, to see if it works I feel a sort of sense of acheivement, which I like.
I am also sort of enjoying Contextual Studies as it is similar to what was involved in my A-Level Media, so I feel like I understand more.
The Linear lessons are the ones I am finding most difficult, which I found strange because I thought it would be ther other way around between Linear and Interactive, it will be interesting to see if stays like this!
I am looking forward to learning, as I love a challenge, and this is what I want to do!
